Nicholas J. Martignetti, P.E., S.E., Project Manager & San Diego Office Director
The son of a general contractor, Nick was exposed to all the skilled trades from a very young age. This valuable experience has helped to provide a unique ability to marry construction with design, particularly in wood framed residential homes. He has worked on a wide range of projects varying from renovations to production and custom homes in all parts of the country. Nick obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. He moved out to the west coast in 2020, and opened up M+K’s San Diego office. Along with being the Office Director, he is a Project Manager and leads M+K’s business development in the West.
Richard J. Zabel, P.E., Project Manager & Director of Engineering
Ricky graduated from The University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. From day one, Ricky has demonstrated a commitment to technical excellence, hard work, attention to detail, and exceptional communication. He has been the primary engineer on countless single-family home and townhome projects throughout the country and in the process has accumulated a wealth of experience. In 2020, he relocated to the San Diego office where he specializes in custom home designs on the west coast. In addition to being a Project Manager, Ricky also holds the position of Director of Engineering, where he is responsible for overseeing and leading the technical operations of the entire company.
