Congratulations to Professor Francesco Lanza di Scalea for being selected to receive a SPIE NDE Lifetime Achievement Award!

Professor Lanza di Scalea will receive this prestigious award at the 2020 Smart Structures/NDE SPIE Symposium to be held in Anaheim, CA in April 2020. This award recognized a senior researcher who has made significant contributions to the field of Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) and who has been instrumental in its growth. The award decision is based on the extent of the nominee’s impact on the community and participation in the SPIE Smart Structures + Nondestructive Evaluation symposium. The prize consists of a SPIE certificate and a plenary talk at the symposium the following year.
