Professor Kenneth Loh has been awarded the 2018 Structural Health Monitoring Person-of-the-Year Award from the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT). This award is given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of structural health monitoring in the form of theory, analysis, applications, education, or other ways that benefits society. This award was given at the 9th European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring held in Manchester, UK.
Professor Loh joins Professor Francesco di Lanza Scalea and Professor Michael Todd as previous winners of this prestigious award.
